Up to now this is a very quick over view on my drift car and career in drifting. A lot has happened and been broke, fixed etc by myself and dad because I just refuse to pay people to do it.

I have learnt a lot in 2 years and 40+ events.

looking forward to building my own engine and have many questions for people with this engine so I hope people will help me in that regards.

A thing that is really on my mind is Sleeved block and Billet Main caps.

What’s people’s opinions on them? When is it needed?

Got a spare block off a friend to use as a dummy block whilst I get my machined. Gives me a chance to get all the ve components on and start making things like fuel lines, wiring to the engine, intercooler piping etc.

really need to go tubbed arches or just cut them out altogether

Well today I decided to get most of the parts all bolted up and on the car/engine so I can start things like fuel lines, wiring etc.

Really happy with how everything fits so far. Mazworx inlet and exhaust manifold fit perfect.

Yes that’s an eBay turbo I bought for £90 purely for mockup so I can build all the piping whilst I save for my actual turbo. Moroso sump fits perfectly.

Glad I switched to single solenoid as it’s a real close fit to the bulk head.

Need to drill out a hole for the cam angle sensor from mazworx next.

Started working on the intercooler piping. Just bought some real cheap tubing to mock everything up before getting it made properly.

Thoughts on mounting the oil cooler in front of the intercooler? With it being mid mounted and me still using the viscous fan there’s no where else for it to go but having concerns with it increasing the IAT
