Dear Sir,

For my academic project, I purchased a MoTeC M142 diesel ECU (GPR diesel package). The installation part and wiring loom connection were completed. But I am facing some difficulties in common rail pressure control (PID tuning). Because of poor adjustment of PID parameters, there is hunting in common rail pressure. I made many efforts to sort out but fails to diagnose the real cause. I know fundamental about the PID tuning, how parameters affect the performance.

What is the engine that you have the ECU controlling? The PID control needs to be tuned correctly, however there are some more fundamental aspects that need to be setup first that are peculiar to each high pressure fuel pump. Let me know what engine you're running and I'll see what I can do to help.
