Hi there,

my Name is Christian, i have a BMW e30 with the m20 2,5 Liter inline sixcylinder engine converted from N/A to Turbo.

I am using megasquirt Software for Tuning. Since i have no Dyno i was wondering how i can do the best Tuning for my ignition table on the road.

This engines have no knock sensor. What would be the best way for me to do this without destroing the engine with to much Timing and still get the best possible power?

Probably using a knock tool i gues. But i can only see one spot on the engine block where i could put a knocksensor. And this is probably not the best place for this it is in the middle off the block and only one sensor for a inline six is probably too less for acurate detection.

If you want to find the best possible power, you need to be able to measure it. -- Find a Dyno! It's really the only correct solution.
