2 core sheilded wire types and size

Hi , i am looking for 2 core sheilded wire, but when looking on websites there so many different types , different sheilded material options , material of the 2 core cable.i dont want to end up buying something thats not any good for the job . Can anyone spec a 2 core cable make ect or what everyone else uses? I stay in the uk so if anyone had a company i could contact would be appreciated .Also would 20 AWG cable be the correct size to use for , crankshaft ,cam shaft and knock sensors. Like i said iv found loads of 2 core cable but just unsure if its sutable for the job
