Hello

The original ECU in my car has built in transistors for ignition coils. The new Link ECU I'm integrating requires ignitors which I bought.

I'm using the original engine harness to run the power from these ignitors to the coils. I didn't measure the gauge but it should be sufficient as that's how it came from factory.

I'm using 16AWG wire as the ignitor earth.

The question is. Can I use 20AWG wire to connect ignitors to the ECU? I would have used 18AWG but I don't have it to hand.

Thanks

20 AWG will be fine for the low current signals going to the ignitors. The factory wiring is probably 18 or 20 AWG for the ignitor to coil (and coil power) wiring.

Thank you David.
