If it's not really about tuning or wiring. Then it belongs in here.

Hi, I am wondering what effects might occur from valve seals leaking oil into the engine?

I know it will use more oil, but how will it effect combustion? What other problems might develop over time?

Thanks,

A little more detail, I am not certain my valve seals are leaking, but the car is using more oil, and it will smoke after heavy acceleration and then lifting off the throttle, and if the car is brought to a stop via engine braking and then turned off for a few hours, on restart it will blow puff of smoke, but under normal driving it does not blow smoke when restarting after having sat over night there is no smoke

The symptoms you've described are typical of leaking valve guide seals. This introduces oil into the combustion chamber which can end up building up carbon deposits on the piston crown as well as the back of the intake valve. It's hard to say what the effect of this is going to be - In the short term it's likely to be of little issue however over an extended period of time it can have some nasty implications such as the carbon build up becoming a potential source of pre-ignition.
