WRX EJ20 IACV wiring

Hello!

I have 2004 wrx, already setting Ecumaster classic and new mil spec wiring harness

Question is, how to connecting correct 3wire IACV?

In service wiring diagram the wires is +12v, GND and signal.

I think the valve is closed position when +12v and GND are connected and then when PWM signal come from ecu its start to open.

It is correct?

Did I need flyback diode between ecu signal and +12v wire? And did I need resistor in GND wire?
