Is it necessary to have AFR gauge on both sides of exhaust in each collector 1 per collector. Or will one gauge on one side be good enough. Also whats the advantages of a Meter over a gage like the Innovate gage that Ben uses.

Thanks

Hi Josh, it's nice to be able to monitor the AFR of both banks of cylinders on a V6/V8 with a single sensor per collector, however it's not essential. It's quite common to use a single sensor mounted past the point where the exhausts join together. Using individual sesnors per bank allows you to know if one bank is running richer or leaner than the other.

A meter like the one we use is portable and easy to switch between different cars. A gauge on the other hand is designed for permanent installation.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
