Hello Guys from HPA,

Im trying to setup the knock control on my RB25, can i get some help in how to calibrate the sensor for accurate reading and filtering to avoid false knock. What settings do i have to change?

This page has the details of the parameters available in Megasquirt.

So, where are you finding false knock? -- if it's only above a certain RPM (and you don't want to use knock control), then you would set the "No Knock Above RPM" to a value just below where the drivetrain noise looks like knock.

As shown in the various videos and webinars here, you basically log the Knock Level (with good fuel, temps and safe ignition timing), then set the threshold just above the values are different RPMs.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
