Currently have forged pistons and con rods in my R35 GTR. I want to install a new billet crank. Do I need to pull the pistons and replaced the rings and machine the block again.?

Hey Theodore,

If your pistons, rings and block are in perfect working order there should be no need to pull the pistons out. If the billet crankshaft you are replacing with the stock crankshaft has a longer stroke than stock, you will need to pull the pistons and rods to suit the extra stroke length. Also remember you will have to get the correct oil clearances on your main caps and con rods. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask them.
