Hi guys

I’m starting my first project and I’m having a difficult time trying to understand how to replace a OEM double function relay used in the factory harness. I want to replace it mainly because they are prone to damage and are exposed so I want to replace with 2 standard relays located inside the car.

I attached a photo of the diagram:

30 is battery +

15 ignition switch ON

k46 is the relay

A35 is ECU.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but it appears that you could just replace that factory relay with two conventional relays (or whatever is required to support the anticipated current draw). It just won't be as neat as the factory item from a packaging and connection perspective.

Hi Andre

Thanks for the answer! I already figured it out and that’s exactly what I’m going to do it?
