For a reflashed tuned NA GT86, catless header, running about 12.5 down to 12.2 AFR at WOT vs. the stock 11/high 10s. Would it make sense to go one heat range colder? The stock plug is a Denso 27 (NGK 9), so already quite cold.

However, I would suppose it would be a fair bit hotter in the combustion chamber (depending on how the car is driven) with the higher AFR?

Would it be correct to assume:

- For a car that is mainly driven for fun and track would it provide a benefit to go one colder?

- For a daily driven car, sticking with the stock plug would be better?

Thanks for any feedback.

I'd stick to the stock plugs as they are already a cold plug. We're still running the stock plug with a turbo kit on the track so I doubt you'll ever have issue N/A.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.
