I remember watching a video a few months back where only a Dremel was used to remove piston material. In the webinar this evening Andre suggested using a die grinder with burr and finish off with a Dremel. Am I wrong or misunderstood. Which way is correct?

Any method you would feel comfortable with is the one you should go with. Remember that a burr at high speed can get out of control very suddenly and with occasional disastrous results. The end results should be smooth with radii if a plunge cut was taken with a mill.Any "ridges" from burr`s or grinders should be hand fettled until reasonably smooth. You do not want any stress raisers when done. Careful of weakening areas by too much removal. There is no correct or wrong method within the realm of common sense.

Thank you!
