Does anybody else happen to have the aces efi jackpot pro kit on a ls by chance? I have a 86 c10 with a 6.0/4l80. Have always been a carburator guy and now finally switching over and just got it running but it bogs out when I make any turn (mind you my rear end is locked 100% of the time) so as soon as it feels resistance it cuts out for a second I tap pedal and keep on going just fine and when it shifts I get a funny bog while it shifts then it comes back to normal

Figured I'd post on here and see if anybody else has similar issues or if maybe a could find a few guys with a aces kit on their vehicle just to learn some stuff

Sorry, I've not heard of that system, but the truck looks great!

Your question sounds general to some extent though so hopefully this helps:

A locked diff on a vehicle that's turning sharply will bind and hop, and in the process apply and remove lots of resistance to engine rotation. That can cause stumbling or stalling. You can apply more throttle to push through the binding, but it's not going to feel smooth.

Is the bog after shifting something that's happening while you're driving straight or just while turning with the locked diff?

Generalmente respondemos dentro de las 12 horas (a menudo antes)
