Hi,
Last Wednesday I was at the dyno, and to summarize, the driveshaft broke and damaged the oxygen sensor wires. I took the car to the shop; when I tried to start the engine, I couldn't. After the driveshaft failure, all the sensors are now reporting errors. I'll attach photos of the errors to see if you can help me determine what the error might be.
The ECU is Motec gold box hundred series M800.
Any chance you have shorted the sensor ground to the lambda signal, or other low-voltage value? I would start with making sure none of the O2 wiring is shorting together.
If possible, the sensor connector came loose, exposing the wire pins.
Could that short circuit have damaged the ECU?
It's possible I have damaged motec products (ADL dashes) by shorting the 0V pins to 12V. Both times the ADL's were able to be repaired by MoTeC USA.
It was actually my biggest fear.
Thanks for the feedback, even though it was the answer I didn't want to read.
Mr. David can you help me any phone number or link for Motec service?
