Hi guys
Need a little help please. My Mercedes M113 engine track car needs new fuel injectors as they are 20years old. My car in running a ECU masters PRO8 with aim PDM. Here is my question I found a set of Bosch ev14 to fit my engine they are different spec from the factory injectors but same will fit. I know I have to put the new specs into ECU but would I need a re tune.

There will be a level of base scaling if you can input the new injector flow rate but I would always suggest a cursory look at the fuel map after changing injectors as for example, the spray pattern will more the often than not, be more optimised which would mean the fuelling will need to be corrected to suit. A quick sanity check on the rollers or even a few pulls at varying loads on track monitoring lambda would be enough to see if any further changes are needed.
