Hey all I'm from central MN. I am interested in just about anything JDM. I just joined HPA a couple days have been considering the wiring courses for quite some time now as I am working on gathering parts to do a full engine/trans swap on my car.
The project car is a 1972 datsun 510 wagon that I have owned for about 5 years. Currently it has the factory l16 inline 4cyl in it. I rebuilt that shortly after I purchased the car. The engine has period correct mods done it now header/larger carb/ high comp Jdm head. I have purchased a ka24de from a 1991 nissan 240sx that had rod knock. Engine is currently at the machine shop getting fixed up. I will create build thread for alot more of the details at some point but for now im at a stand still waiting on backordered parts and machine shop to call me.
The second sorta project i have is actually my wifes truck but ill add a picture to here also. She picked a 1977 datsun 620 pickup, It is a 5spd and almost completely stock just a weber dual 38 downdraft has been installed. Hardly any rust anywhere on the truck just alittle in the floor of the bed that will be an easy repair.

Wow you have very cool projects! I must admit I'm a little jealous about that 620, it looks really clean indeed! I love the style of those 70's Datsun.
