Hi,
I just watch the Methanol tuning webinar but almost all the talk is on turbo applications. What will be a good lambda target for a NA honda K24. Also the timing for normal gasoline will be the same for Methanol or this will be different?

start at .72 lambda. Keep leaning it until the engine stops gaining HP. i wont go over 0.82 lambda just to keep things safe. With Methanol you can keep it rich without sacrificing HP , all depends on your ignition system if it is capable of igniting at rich AFRs.

if you are going to use straight methanol you can try using the same ignition timing advance, but you can retard it to see if it will gain. If you are going to use VP M5 retard 5 degrees from your timing map and add it again while you are doing the dyno pulls . if you are going to use nitromethane start by retarding 10 degrees as a safety.
