Saw a pinout for a hall effect sensor with a little diagram that said below it "solder termination view".
I'm not sure what that means. I'm trying to figure out of the pinout diagram I have is from direction of looking at the sensor plug or from the direction of looking at the mating plug that goes to the sensor.

Have you got a picture of the sensor plug? It sounds like the diagram is referring to the rear of the plug where the wires have been soldered onto the plug. If you could send a picture of the plug and diagram so that I could be positive that would be great.
