Hi,
As i learned from the courses the cam likes richer idle but what about cruising area ?
Which is better AFR 14.7 or 14.0 ?
i tune my car at around 14.2 and seems to b running good but still need fine tune as im new at tuning, or shall i keep it at 14.7 as this is the stoc AFR
I need your suggestion about that .
If you find the engine runs smoothly and cleanly with an AFR of 14.7:1 at cruise then there's no need to really tune richer. Often you'll find that an engine with a large cam won't feel smooth when cruising with an AFR of 14.7:1 and this is where I'd try a slightly richer mixture.
