Hey All,
I'm not new to cars, but I am new to computer controlled cars. I live in southern Arizona so I battle higher elevation (2500-3000') and even higher temperatures (120* in the peak of summer) so my factory settings are dialed down simply due to ambient temperature (or so i've read). I'm very interested in learning how the ecu and tcu work, and modify them to my wants/needs.
The Camaro sees the drag strip usually once twice a month when i'm actively going. It's been lowered 1.8/1.7 inches, with the usual cold air intake, larger and ported 80mm throttle body (stock was 72), ported factory intake manifold, 25mm spacer under intake, and performance ignition coils. Next will be 2.5 inch exhaust over the stock 2.25 inch.
I'm curious how many, if any, LFXs are being tuned/modified. See you in the threads...
