Are you planning on doing a worked example on an engine using heui injection, I work on many and wonder if changing pulse width in the same way as you do in the duramax would have the same dramatic effect on power as the injector design in the heui is so different.

I wish I could call myself a Heui expert but that’s not the case. I have only tuned a few, and my experience has been that adding to the main injection pulse width does add torque and fuel quantity so long as the high pressure oil pump can’t maintain stabile pressures. My advice to you would be to add 10% to be high load pulsewidth and Dyno or power test on the street for the desired effect. AFR should richen and EGT should rise as well.
