Hello members,
got a M800 tuned and working and customer has a RacePak IQ3 dash and would like information on it
RPM
Speed
temps
ect
how can this be done. is there an IQ3 software that i can connect and possible CAN comm between both dash and ecu

Hi,
From my understanding of the Racepak Displays, you need to have a interface module that takes the CAN messaging from the M800 and converts it into V-Net for the Racepak. There should be information on this available from Racepak as to the setup needed on the M800 for the communications and cabling. In the industry, it is the receiving devices responsibility to accept the data sen, thus Racepak has to configure it's CAN templates to suit the MoTeC, just as MoTeC creates CAN templates to receive data from Haltech. Link. etc.
With questions like this, it is advisory to as them in the general area, as this is more dedicated to the M1.
Thanks for your input, i have contacted RacePak with no response yet. but that is the most logical thought to set it up.
i thought maybe there is a tutorial or something for this setup somewhere
