DO YOU GUYS RECOMMEND ON USING A THERMAL WRAP ON YOUR EXHAUST MANIFOLD? AND WHAT BRAND DO YOU USE
It depends on a few things... First of all it's the power level you are aiming for. For high level performance engines I would definitely recommend using thermal wrap since it reduces the temperature under the hood big time which is very critical for detonation threshold... If it's a stock (or boost up) - I wouldn't bother... The other thing is the steel brand. Not all of them are compatible with some types of pipe wrap - in many cases moisture under wrap causes rust.
I personally use Dei thermal wrap...
