I know it is suggested to get the Tool Aid 18700 crimp tool kit, but would the Sargent 3330 TRK from WayTek be a good option for the Metri-Pak/WeatherPack terminals? (Instead of the blue/red handled ones in the Tool Aid Set)

That kit is just a suggestion rather than a must have so it's great you are looking around.
While I haven't purchased the specific tool you are discussing (Andre is not a huge fan of that type of connector, to be honest!), we have used Sargent crimp tools and have a number in the workshop here. In general, based on that experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Sargent tooling.

Yeah, as a mechanic for my day job, I can say I agree with Andre, not a big fan of Weatherpack specifically, MetriPack second.....but unfortunately as you guys know, sometimes theyre a necessary evil. Haha!
Sounds good on the tooling. I am always looking atound at whats out there, as I know having an arsenal of QUALITY tools can only help. Still looking around to see if I can find the Tool Aid Deutsch terminal crimpers separately as well. Thanks again!
