I have an 05 Audi A4 2.0t that has jumped timing. In the manual it says that the number 1 piston is at TDC when the marks on the crankshaft line up and the timing marks on the cam shaft line up. But every time I get the #1 piston in the TDC position, the crank shaft timing marks are lined up but the cam shaft timing marks are 180 out. Did the belt spin that much? From your video I realize I will have to drop the oil pan and check to see what position the crank shaft journal is in. Thank you. Any advice on this would be helpful thank you!

Do they line up at the next #1 piston TDC?

On a 4-stroke engine, the crank shaft is at TDC twice for every cycle. That means every other crank revolution, the CAM will be 180 degrees from TDC #1.

Generalmente respondemos dentro de las 12 horas (a menudo antes)
