I'm ready to start calibrating my MAF but I want to set the correct scale first. I've worked out I need to scale my intake up by 1.04 using the following info (I manually measured both intakes as best I could)
Old intake around MAF sensor 2x3 inch oval
pi * 1 * 1.5 = 4.71 in^2 = 3039 mm^2
New intake around MAF sensor 2.5 inch circle
pi * 1.25^2 = 4.91 in^2 = 3165 mm^2
3165 / 3039 = 1.04 MAF scaling factor
So I need to scale up my MAF by 1.04, is that correct? Where do I apply this in my XDF? I've looked through a few different XDF's but I can't seem to find any field that says anything like this. Do I just need to find the whole MAF calibration table and multiply them all by 1.04? Is there a way I can find the MAF table manually, like is there a standard format that ME9.1 ECU's use for the MAF table that I can look for?
