Hi, I am wiring up AEM Infinity 5 serie, I've started with the most essential sensor ( Cam sensor, Crank sensor, injector, ignition)

I am getting start probability on the ecu to 100% when cranking and I have checked I got Spark and Fuel.

I have synced the timing and I come with a offset of 270° BTDC.

As I have no timing mark on the pulley I've done them myself with putting the engine to TDC then marked the pulley and the block, So I know when both mark align then I am at TDC.

I have locked the timing to 0° then synced the timing like that .

Do someone have any idea why I don't even get a pop from the engine ?

Engine is a 2.0l duratec with stock 36-1 crank trigger vr sensor and 1 Tooth VR cam sensor

I am attaching the logs.

Don't mind the 0ms injectors pw as I zeroed the crank ve table to try different thing ..

Thank you very much

It could be firing on the opposite phase (will look the same on the timing light). Try adding/subtracting 360 deg (so 630 deg or -90, I don't remember what InfinityTuner allowed).

Thank you for your answer, I will try that.

do cam and crank vr sensors polarity matter ?

They can -- changing it will move the offset by approximately the width of the tooth on the crank sensor. Best to use an oscilloscope and see which edge is the most vertical. Either set the ECU to that, or invert the wiring if you need the signal to stay in the same spot (i.e. not move relative to the other signal).

Engine started with 630deg!!

thank you very much for your help!

I’ll carry on the wiring 😄😄
