I understand the whole concept, but how will i able able to measure the torque and other factors when tuning without a Dyno?
You can't do so accurately, but you can approximate the difference from acc'n times. There are applications available for 'phones that use the built in "G" meters and GPS to give relative perfomance changes. For safety, some form of "knock" monitoring and, preferably, lambda measuring is also a good iea. Some will also use EGT.
Of you have no other tools, you find a flat stretch of road, have someone hold the ground speed, gear, and throttle % steady, and you bump the timing up 1°, you'll notice the car pickup RPM / speed even though the road is flat and the throttle hasnt opened any further - you've added torque through timing advance.
Reset back to that load point (same road, same speed, less throttle) and do it again.
Eventually you won't pickup anymore speed, or very little speed, and you'll have gone past MBT.
MONITOR YOUR KNOCK SENSORS.
Depending on the application you probably want to do this at a few breakpoints, and then hand blend between them.
Many have been using the app called Virtual Dyno. It is accurate enough to monitor any changes... Basically, you just make some logs on the road and view them with that program which converts them to the Dyno sheets. It's a great help to the guys without Dyno access...
