I knew I got a correction factor = 0.92
Whats the equation that gets me the 8.5ms ??

You need to apply your correction factor to the actual pulse width (ms), the example in the course starts with 9.24ms, once you apply your correction factor you end up with 8.5008ms or 8.5ms.
9.24*0.925=8.5008
