Does the ecu employ a specific o2 reading during cold start operation when the narrowband sensor is inactive?
If yes, can i call that the ecu is in "open loop"? Thanks guys
If the ECU is using the O2 sensors to control fueling, that is by definition "closed loop". Open Loop is when the fueling is dictated strictly by tables and the O2 readings are ignored.
