Why do you guys use Kapton Tape vs 3M 33+ Electrical tape? I have always use it and found it to work awesome. I have never even heard of Kapton Tape unroll beinging the basic electrical video series and was just wondering what the benefits of it are? Thank you.
Its far more stable in extreme temperatures such as reflowing solder and doesn't have an awful adhesive that turns to goo. Electrical tape has its place in repairs but not in manufacturing harnesses.
