i was wondering if anyone has ever worked with the autronic sm2 because support on this ecu really sucks man
I used the SMC and SM2 quite a lot back around 10 years ago. I've dealt with a handful of the SM4's a little more recently. We don't tend to see them much these days for the same reason you mention - There is a severe lack of support for them. This is probably made worse by the fact that they are an incredibly complex ECU if you don't know your way around them or how to approach the tuning of them. They were years ahead of their time when I first started using them. I think over the years though the rest of the aftermarket has perhaps caught up while adding improved user friendliness.
