99.99% of engines rotate clockwise, looking from the pulley end. IIRC, Honda use an anti-clockwise rotation for some engines and, if yours is one, you can USUALLY just reverse the directions - the problem may lie with the tensioner, as some designs can cause problems if reversed*.
*Applies to some conventional CW engines, too!
Hi! I am preparing to degree the cams on my LS/VTEC B series motor and I’m wondering why we are ‘allowed’ to rotate the engine clockwise during the TDC truing process when the manual is so adamant about only rotating it counterclockwise?
