What is the closing point ?
When dial start read after the lobe start to close ? I mean if the lobe it’s fully open when its start closing should i take the read or shoud i make the same procedure like the opening? Like take the reading when its start pressing on the tappet and the closing when its start to leave the tappet.

the closing point is taken at a set lift indicated by the cam spec card from the cam grinder generally it is measured in degrees@0.050 of valve lift but different camshaft suppliers use different lift measurements for the reading to be taken
