Hi,
I was wondering if lash ramp is the same as valve clearance.
I understand that if the valve clearance is off this will effect the duration of the cam, thus it is important to set it correctly before degreeing the cam.
However the cam specification card that came with my cam (catcams) it only says lash ramp of 0.25mm, both for the intake and exhaust valve.
If i set my valve clearance to 0.25mm on the intake and exhaust valve, will this be okay?

Posting a picture of the cam card would help us better tailor suggestions.
lash is what the US call the valve clearances, the ramp is what takes up the clearance smoothly to reduce the shock loadings and noise, so I would expect the "lash ramp" - a term i don't think I've ever read before - to be the vlave clearance.
0.25mm is very close to 0.010", which is well within the usual range one might expect.
