Wire Ident Colours....
Is there a standard to go by for these?
I believe someone told me once each colour relates to a number.
When it comes to having multiple idents on a wire, i would always start the sequence from pin end out.
I would also usually start with a colour relating to its source:
Red = 12v
BLK = GND
ORG = 5v
so on and so forth.
I'd be interested to hear what other people do for wire ident procedures/standards.

I suggest you download MIL-STD-681F and then you can build your own system.
