So I plan to soon change out the ecu in my 2jz cefiro , the car was built in Thailand and I imported it to Ireland. this is my second Thia car and this one bucks the trend in terms of quality , albeit older parts have been used. saying that it's well put to gether and drives great.

Saying that I want to add in engine protections and have the car set up for Irish fuel , so I have set decided MAXXECU is the way I want to go , tuners here like them and the price is good for the features available.

So the engine loom in the car is actually pretty decent from what I can see and there is plenty of cable in the glove box where the fcon sits.

Would the best option be to just depin here and add the maxx ecu plug plus any wires needed for the additional sensors ect .

I also randomly have a universal premium wire in harness from haltech sitting on my shelf , i bought this for a tuner to fit on another car but he only used the plug from it . is there any value in buying maxxecu plugs and making a full new loom using the haltech wires .

Last option is to use the MAXECU 2jz harness , but its 800 euro.
