Hello all,
I am trying to identify this sensor on a 2000 Toyota Aristo 2JZ-GTE. The sensor in question is shown in the attached photo. It is on inboard side of the intake manifold towards the back.
My guess would be air intake temp sensor but google images for 2000 Toyota Aristo 2JZ-GTE IAT sensor don't look like my photo and the location looks wrong.
Any help much appreciated.

Could it be a manifold temp sensor (ie, measuring the temperature of the manifold to determine charge temperature change from the air temp?) What does it look like when you unscrew it? I think the sensor to the left of it (two wire) looks like a possible air temp sensor.
What does the factory workshop manual say? It's hard to work on engines without the factory documentation, and it's usually available from the dealer.
