I didn't catch an answer to this in the course, and I've been through it again to make sure. What is the acceptable amount of wear on the bearing shells when installing on the crankshaft? I installed mine with plasti-gauge to measure the clearances, and that came up fine, everything is within tolerance. However, on the outer edges of the bearing shells and toward the center where the two halves meet, there appears to be some wear. Is this an issue, or normal? Do I need to add more lubrication to the bearings or crankshaft, even when measuring for clearances? (for reference, in the video the only lubrication added is silicone spray to the bearing half on the cap side of the connecting rod to keep the plasti-gauge from sticking to it)

For reference, I'm building a VW/Audi 2.0TSI EA888 engine with IE connecting rods and Mahle race bearings. Thanks in advance.
