No doubt someone has mentioned this, but in case it hasn't been pointed out, in the LS worked example it is said that the threads in the block for both the main caps & head fasteners are M10 x 2. I have found the head fasteners to be an M11 x 2. Also, ARP make thread chasers for both, at very reasonable prices. Part numbers are ARP 912-0011 (M11 x 2) for the heads and ARP 912-0014 (M10 x 2) for the main caps.
