Can someone please explain to me how to setup boost control via RPM on AEM EMS2? More specific, the boost WH base duty setup? And how is boost target tps related to all this?
It's been a long time since I've dealt with an AEM series 2 sorry. The Boost WG Base Duty table is exactly as its name suggests - The base duty that will be applied to the solenoid for a given boost target vs rpm. This table should be setup so that you're actually hitting your target boost accurately before using any closed loop control. There are another set of tables that define the boost target vs rpm, speed or throttle position. In your case if you want to vary the boost relative to rpm you'd set your targets appropriately in that table and then that will define where in the base duty table the ECU accesses. The throttle position table allows you to also vary the boost target based off tps if desired.
