Are knock happening during 2 step real? On Evo X i noticed wideband reads lean during 2 step but others have told me it's normal to see lean wideband reading using fuel cut 2 step.
As mentioned in the worked example, you can't take notice of the lambda reading while any type of cut (either fuel or ignition) is active. Often holding an engine on a limiter will produce engine noise that can trigger a knock sensor but actual knock is quite rare. If you're using audio knock detection you can confirm this for yourself.
Got it i'll do more testing with the knock headphones just purchased one yesterday to play with hopefully it will solve all the mysterious random knock i always encouter with 2 step.
