I am trying to decide on building a 2.0, 2.2, 2,3 liter engine for my Evo 9. Everyone is saying that building a stroker is not safe and that the engine will not last. Does this have anything to do with the larger crank causing the pistons to apply to much load to the wall? Maybe there is to much load on the bearings?

Looks like I decided to keep the car a 2.0 for now. I have started the build process.
