Couple of years ago I started doing track days. At the time I was using a seat ibiza. (I own a VW Audi repair shop)
Kept seeing 86’s and brz’s on the track and fell in love with them.
Late last year I've bought a 2014 86 with low milage.
Since then I've started paying with handling. Tein mono sports, white line roll correction. White line caster and toe adjustment for the rear. got some 18” wheels however I'm preferring the 17’s
Just installed a Jackson racing supercharger for a bit more go.

Know the hpa crew are familiar with building 86 track cars hoping for some guidance on stripping out the unwanted. the car is resigned to track use so Im looking to remove some of the annoying electricals
can the alarm be removed without upsetting the immobilizer?
The dash panel seems to control the alternator charge. bar this it seems to run fine without it.
when running the plex 550 dash i cannot communicate via obd is this normal or do i need to change something in the dash?
really want to simplify the whole wiring but not sure how far to go. need engine. abs, basic lights and thinking to keep ac for the hotter days. everything else is dead weight and annoying.
