I want to change the Igniton system from coil per plug to waste spark Ignition sustem in V8 engine so I will reduce the number of coils to 4 insted of 8 so It can fit to motec m84, in waste spark every coil is connected to two cylinder, my qustion In which cylnider each coil are connected ?
Look in the service manual for the engine you are using for the firing order.
For an 8 cylinder engine, the 1st & 5th plugs to fire would be connected, 2nd & 6th, 3rd & 7th, 4th & 8th.
BTW - you could still use the existing coils just wire the COP triggers together for wasted spark triggering.
