Hi

I am running r33 gtst on track. Looking at fitting

brake ducking. Is there a size you should run or some way of working out what size you should have?

Can you just run the pipe to the centre of the disc or do you need to run a back plate as well?

Thanks

For best performance on a vented rotor, you should have a plate that holds the ducting outlet at the center of the hub, and the plate is sized to seal the inner part of the rotor, so the air is encouraged to go through the rotor venting.

Inlet size is adjusted to match the cooling requirements (so make it as large as practical, and reduce the size if the brakes are being over-cooled.)

As David said. Is there a specific problem you're having with the brakes?

Depending on your specific application, you may be able to avoid the hassle* with a pad change and race fluid, changed regularly - possibly an aftermarket disc/rotor upgrade?

Some brake manufacturers/suppliers have suggested that the benefits of ducting, with modern brake systems, is marginal - but, again, specific applications will have different requirements.

Generalmente respondemos dentro de las 12 horas (a menudo antes)
