Good question. I usually set things to dark mode by default for that reason, but I don't think it'll be done for this site.

This would be a great feature!
A workaround on PC is to use Windows magnifier set to full screen at 100% (no magnification) and turn on the invert colors option Ctrl+shift+i or Ctrl+alt+i. Not at my PC to confirm which is correct right now.
