I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, I've been working on it for a while now, it has a 5.3 engine and I already have the complete turbo setup.
My first question is: where should I connect my wastegate and my blowoff, that is, in what part of the intake? before or after the throttle? I've also had some problems doing your e since I removed the oxygen sensors and the MAF SENSOR but added an AEM brand AFR gauge, so what recommendations would you give me to do a better tune with what I already have installed?
Your BOV connection should be post throttle as you want vacuum and boost reference. The wastegate however should be pre throttle, usually the turbo cover has a reference port which is best to use.
If you're using the factory ECU you should reinstall the front o2 sensors at minimum, forcing the ECU to run in open loop at all times really doesn't work well and you will get very poor fuel efficiency.
