Hello, I´ve designed a new Intake Admission for a 1UZ V8 Motor and need a printable 3d thermal Gaskets. My Question is which material do you recommend for a 3d printable part and if not, which material do you recommend for a metal Gaskets and how do I manufacture it. Thanks

Bambu Lab has a good chart with properties of various 3D filaments you can probably print.

What is the most important property for you -- temperature, strength?

You might look at the PPA-CF and PPS-CF which have carbon fiber reinforcing, and handle high temperatures.

Normally intake manifolds don't require metal gaskets, rubber / silicon 0-rings can be used, or typical fiber gasket material.

I would look at a laser cut material an easy next step now you have the CAD models, my experience is that 3D prints don't always stand up to liquids or gasses. Hope you find a solution that works for you 👍

Adding to Stuart and Davids points.

I usually look at Nylon (PA) based materials for intake stuff on Naturally aspirated cars.

If you're looking for thermal insulation I've seen products like this made from PTFE (Teflon) usually around 2-5mm thick.

Like Stuart said you could get them 2D cut - probably waterjet I would've guessed for a polymer material - just send them the DXF of the profile you need.

Generalmente respondemos dentro de las 12 horas (a menudo antes)
